Robert Butler, the founding director of the National Institute on Aging, stated "If exercise could be packaged in a pill, it would be the single most widely prescribed and beneficial medicine in the nation." Research supports Butler's claims, demonstrating that exercise can help prevent, manage symptoms, and reduce the recurrence of all chronic illnesses. I will share how you can take advantage of the power of movement regardless of your physical ability, age, or illness. A little bit of movement goes a long way and it is never too late to start.
