In collaboration with UCLA Health, the Foundation for Senior Services presents a program with Carlen Kim, AuD (Audiology). Hearing loss affects more than your ears, it can affect mental health, auditory function and increase risk of cognitive decline. Dr. Kim will explain how hearing changes with age, what warning signs to look for, and explore current hearing technologies, including cochlear implants. SSG Specialist, Stephen Carmody of MD Care Hospice, will discuss additional age-related sensory changes, including vision, taste, smell, and touch, and how to protect them.
